Lillian Butler Holloway , 95 of Orlando, Florida passed away on Friday, February 14, 2014.
Lillian was born on August 14, 1918 in Clarkton, North Carolina to Thomas and Janie (Smith) Butler who have both preceded her in death. She moved to Orlando in 1992 from Lakeland, Florida. Lillian retired in the mid 1960's from the Civil Service after more than 25 years of service. While there, she developed and wrote a computer program for payroll that is used to this day by all branches of the Military. She enjoyed painting, sewing and fishing. Lillian was a member of the Bartow, Florida Homemakers Club and the League of Women Voters in Bartow. She was a past member of Bartow Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School. After her move to Orlando, she attend College Park Baptist Church, Conway Methodist Church and visited St. James Catholic Cathedral.
Lillian is survived by her sons, Cecil R. Ashley and his wife, Regina and Maitland S. Ashley; granddaughter, Elizabeth A. Ashley; grandson, James W. Ashley; granddaughter, Mary K. Bowlsbey and 6 great-grandchildren.
