Linda D. Forsyth

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Linda D. Forsyth, age 76, of Winter Park, FL who passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 6, 2024.

Born in Frankfort, NY, Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Blanche Day of Frankfort, NY. She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Mark Forsyth, son David Forsyth of Washington D.C. and Erica Forsyth of Winter Park, FL. 

A graduate from SUNY in Geneseo, NY with a degree in education followed by a Master’s degree from SUNY at the Brockport, NY. She taught school at LeRoy Central School in New York for 12 years along with being a teacher for many years at Tuscawilla Montessori, Winter Park.

Linda loved helping kids over the years of her teaching. Her commitment to helping the Special Olympics was one of her favourite organizations to aid all the children.

Visitation is Thursday, October 17, 2024 from 5pm to 7pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 3806 Howell Branch Road, Winter Park, FL 32792.

Mass of Christian Burial is Friday, October 18, 2024 at 10:30am at Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church, 5300 Old Howell Branch Road, Winter Park, FL 32792.

Burial will follow at Queen of Angels Cemetery, Winter Park, FL.
