Linda Joyce Hall

April 9, 1952 — June 12, 2024

Linda Joyce Hall passed away peacefully on June 12, 2024, surrounded by her family at Fish Memorial Hospital.

Linda was born on April 9, 1952, to Wesley Wright, Jr., and Helen Lawrence in Sanford, Florida. Linda was the oldest of 12 siblings. She attended the public schools of Seminole County, graduating from Crooms High School in 1970. She entered the workforce and later went on to receive her degree to become a registered nurse in 1992.

Linda was a woman of faith and loved the Lord Jesus. She was baptized and filled with the Holy Ghost as a teenager and became a member of Maranatha Pentecostal Church in the 1970s. She served as a faithful member for many years and was looked up to by many of the younger saints. She became affectionately known as "mom".

She loved her family dearly and had to grow up fast, nurturing and caring for her younger siblings as a mother does. Linda enjoyed traveling, basketball, decorating, shopping, gardening, fishing and especially spending time with her family and co-workers at Fish Memorial Hospital.

Linda was preceded in death by her father, Wesley Wright, Jr., and brother, Tony Gilchrist.

She is survived by husband, Rodney Hall; mother, Helen Lawrence; children, Kevin Davis (Wanda), Tarazor "Rachel" Davis, Michael Davis (Samantha), Cornelius Davis (Trina), Angie Johnson (Jerome); siblings, Mikel Gilchrist, Helen Gilchrist, Henry Gilchrist, Loretta Paige, Gail Lawrence, Starregina Lawrence, Dennis Lawrence, Eldred Lawrence, Tammy Lawrence, Eric Lawrence, Johnny W., Earl Knight, Beverly Godfrey, Cheryl Lee, Debra, 22 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

Linda will be sorely missed by all. The family takes comfort in knowing that she is in a much better place with her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ and that they will be re-united with her one glorious day.
