Linda Sue Jensen, 68, passed away at her home on April 5, 2022, after a long, valiant battle against cancer. Her dedicated and selfless husband was with her to the end.
Born December 15, 1953, to Johnnie and Margaret Bellar, Linda grew up in Sudan, Texas. She was the youngest of six children. Her time growing up was as a farm kid on the South Plains of Texas. During her junior year of high school, the family moved to Guymon, Oklahoma, where she graduated.
Nursing was Linda's profession. She was an RN working at Osceola Regional in Kissimmee and at Heart of Florida as an ER nurse. Her career spanned over 30 years where she made a difference in so many lives—with her patients and the many friends she made along the way.
Her life was so much more than work though. Linda's great loves were family, her home, Texas, dogs, owning Ford mustangs, and the beach. Her life in Florida suited her well—with the love of her life, Sumner.
Linda is profoundly missed and survived by her husband, Sumner, her family Travis and Melissa King, Jason and Carol King, Shaun Jensen and Julie Duff, and Garth and Emily Jensen, her sisters Shirley Madden and Margie Imboden, 9 grandchildren with another on the way, and 7 great-grandchildren.
Linda requested an informal gathering, a party, to celebrate her life instead of a traditional service. So those who cherished Linda's life and heart will gather to remember all she has meant to each of us.
