He is survived by his daughters, Georgina Mercado, Pauline Mercado, Vanessa Mercado, Jennifer Mercado, Janice Mercado; granddaughters, Jasmine Santiago, Ariel Ramos, Alice Ramos, Vivian Reyes; Five Grandsons, Carlos Mercado, Matthew Rodriguez, Luis Reyes, Mason Nieves, Donavan Torres.
Inurnment will take place at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery at a later date.
