Loretta Joyce Evans, 73, of Altamonte Springs, passed away on Monday, September 12, 2016.
Loretta was born May 12, 1943 in Pound, Virginia, the daughter of Evertt and Elsie (Stallard) Williams. She was a graduate of Milton High School, Alpharetta, Georgia. On February 1, 1962, she married her beloved, Gilbert Evans of Rockmart, Georgia. After moving to central Florida in 1963, Loretta worked at various businesses including Gabriel's Subs, Colonial Florist and Sprint. Loretta and Gilbert also owned Gil's Auto Parts in Eatonville for over 15 years. Loretta enjoyed fishing, bowling and playing Canasta and Bunco with her friends.
Loretta is survived by her daughter, Karen Gallagher and husband Edward Gallagher of Roanoke, Virginia; grandson, Edward W. Gallagher III and wife Caitlin Cooke of Herndon, Virginia; granddaughter, Amanda Joyce McPeak and husband Christopher McPeak of Las Vegas, Nevada; great-grandson, Colin N. McPeak; brothers, Robert Williams of Sparta, Georgia, John Williams and wife Ophelia Williams of Dawsonville, Georgia, and Randall Williams of Roswell, Georgia; sister-in-law, Judy Williams of Cumming, Georgia, and numerous nieces/nephews and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband Gilbert Evans, mother, Elsie E. Williams and father, Evertt S. Williams, brothers, Larry Williams and Jeff Williams, sister-in-laws Lynn Williams and Emma Williams.
A private ceremony will be held out of state at a later date.
