Lorisa Sealey a.k.a. "Sugarfoot" was born on April Fool's Day in 1972. Her parents whom proceeded her in death were Margaret Ann Henry and OK Henry Sr. Lorisa was born into a large family of eleven children. She was a homemaker and a terrific mother to Jelecia, Nireisha and Roosevelt Jr. She was an active member of New Bethel A.M.E. Church in Altamonte Springs, Fl.
"Sugarfoot" as we all know her, was a very robust person who enjoyed life to its fullest. Some of her strongest suits consisted of her love for singing, dancing, maintaining a glamourous appearance at all times and most of all her love for helping others. She enjoyed being with her children, spending time with her husband Roosevelt Sr., and engaging in personal family moments with her sisters and brothers. During those times when you might not have seen her, I'm sure that the music emanating from her car was evident enough that she was indeed close by.
Sugarfoot will be missed by all. Her loving and caring ways will never be forgotten, neither will her passion to help others. She always smiled and spoke in a very friendly manner, and was always willing to help no matter what the circumstances were. She leaves her most precious memories to her husband Roosevelt Sealey Sr. , daughters Jelecia, and Nireisha Wilson and son Roosevelt Sealey Jr. She is survived by eight sisters; Theresa Henry Gray, Linda Henry LeGrier, Dorecia Henry Davis, Carlisa Henry Leeks, Felandaye Henry, Margelisa Henry Hamilton, Gloralisa Henry Courtney and Shirley Rumph. Five brothers KC Henry, OK Henry Jr., Tellassavalas Henry, Otis Henry, and MC Henry. Also left to mourn her passing are step daughters, step sons, two aunts, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and her dog, Bella.
