Lorraine Dorothy Baker

August 1, 1928 — August 13, 2015

Lorraine Dorothy Baker aka Lorraine Dorothy Supitilov, was born as Lorraine
Dorothy Thiet, in Kenosha, WI on August 1, 1928, to parents, William Thiet and
Sadie (Schwemin) Thiet. She was the oldest of two, her sister Jean was born on
August 1, 1931. She attended Mary D. Bradford High School in Kenosha as a
straight A student and an accomplished violinist with the school orchestra,
through her junior year. She then attended and graduated from Wheaton College
Academy in Wheaton, IL her senior year.

She met Donald Supitilov at the end of World War II, where he served as a SeaBee in the Navy, his trade was building military bases in the Pacific. They were married on November 22, 1947 and resided at 25th Court in Kenosha, raising their children, Michael, William and Donna. Her and Donald also resided in Wood Dale, IL; Glenwood Springs, CO; and Bullhead City, AZ. Donald pre-deceased her on April 22, 1993, was interred at Ft. Logan National Military Cemetery, in Denver, CO.

She was employed as a bookkeeper over the years by Mayflower Movers, Kenosha,
WI.; Beeline Fashions, Bensenville, IL.; and Glen Valley Manor Nursing Home,
Glenwood Springs, CO. She then became employed by Harrah's Casino, Laughlin,
NV., until retiring at the age of 81 in 2009. She first worked as a Change Attendant, then in Keno Audit and then as a Reservationist, making reservations and flight arrangements for incoming Casino guestsuntil retiring at the age of 81 in 2009. In 2010, she relocated to Winter Park, FL. to be near children and family.

During her lifetime, she enjoyed photography, camping, horseback riding, sewing, cooking and was a lover of pets and animals. She was an avid reader of James Patterson, Nora Roberts and John Grisham novels. She loved watching baseball and spending hours on her Tablet reading, listening to and/or watching videos of her favorite musical artists.

She suffered a stroke on August 8, 2015, and transitioned into Hospice of the
Comforter until God called her home on August 13, 2015.

She is survived by three children: Michael D. Supitilov, William C. Supitilov,
his wife Phyllis, of The Villages, FL., and Donna J. Supitilov Skora, her
husband Richard, of Winter Springs, FL., her sister, Jean Floyd of Maricopa, AZ, six grandchildren: William Supitilov, Lee Supitilov, Daniel Supitilov, Neal Supitilov, Jeremy Skora and Tiffany Skora, seven great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews and Ex-Husband, Paul W. Baker of Ft. Mohave, AZ.
