Louis Athridge

Louis Oliver Athridge, age 95, passed away on Tuesday, July 19, 2022 in Altamonte Springs, Florida. He was born on May 28, 1927 in Bourne, Massachusetts.
Louis is survived by his loving wife of over 70 years, Geraldine Lucille Athridge; son, Robert Athridge and his wife Anita; grandchildren, Mark Robert Athridge and his wife Jill, Joshua Michael Athridge, and Andrew Joseph Athridge and his wife Kimberly; and great-grandchildren, Alexander James Athridge, Brooklyn Lucille Athridge, Georgiana MacKinnon Athridge, and Michael Noah Athridge.
He was preceded in death by his granddaughter-in-law, Margaret MacKinnon Athridge.
After meeting his bride and seeing the kind of family life that he could have, he embraced it totally, and as the family grew he took great joy in his roles as grandfather and great-grandfather.
At any family gathering (which he enjoyed so much), his infectious laugh and booming voice filled the room. He will be sorely missed.
A funeral mass will be held at 10:30 AM on Friday, July 29th at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 1501 N Alafaya Trail, Orlando, FL 32828. Interment will follow at All Faiths Memorial Park, 1390 Park Dr, Casselberry, FL 32707.
In lieu of flowers, charitable donations can be made to the Second Harvest Food Bank
