Lucienne Cange was born on March 30, 1943, to the late Lismie Jacques and Chardin Cange in Port-Au-Prince Haiti. On Thursday April 11, 2024, she peacefully went to sleep at the age of eighty-one to await the resurrection of Jesus' soon return.
Lucienne attended school during the early years of her life, but her education was limited due to her need to work to help support her family.
Lucienne met and married her husband Maurice Jean-Paul, and they became the parents of three beautiful children. She was determined to make certain that her children went to school and were well educated.
Lucienne attended church in Haiti and maintained a Christian character from an early age. She also encouraged her children to live Christian lives.
After her children were grown, they migrated to the U.S. and Lucienne later moved to the U.S. to be closer to her children and grandchildren. She lived with one of her daughters in Florida, and later joined the Bethel SDA Church in Orlando FL, and later she attended the Altamonte Springs SDA Church with her daughter.
Lucienne became ill about ten years ago after having a stroke which gradually left her paralyzed and later bed ridden her daughter Magalie, was her caregiver until she passed.
Lucienne leaves to mourn: Three daughters, Magalie Pacombe, (Pierre husband) Mona St.Hilaire (Legailleus husband), Patricia Degazon (Nickson Husband), and Miralda Legentus (Manes Husband), a special daughter which she raised; One God son, Jean Eddy Douarin; Seven (7) grandchildren Sandra Pacombe, Mitchell Pacombe, Edd Pacombe, Vivian Pacombe, Jins Pacombe, Sean Pacombe, Khaeddly Arne. Five (5) greatgrandchildren Gabriel Pacombe, Arthur Pacombe, Ezekiel Pacombe, Zion Pacombe, Khaiden Arne; and a host of nieces, nephews cousins and friends.
