Lucille Carpentier Lane, born April 25, 1944, unexpectedly passed into the eternal on May 4, 2022, in Altamonte Springs, Florida. She leaves behind her children, Anna R. and John, grandchildren Zachary and Anna E., and many other cherished loved ones. Lucille joins her father, Henry, and mother, Josephine, and her many dearest cousins; who were like her siblings.
Lucille was born in Philadelphia and relocated to Detroit in her early childhood. She spent her younger years in Detroit where she mothered her children, and worked as an assistant to the late Dr. Roswell Burroughs. The family moved to Houston, Texas in the early 1980s, where she worked as an administrative assistant for many years in the insurance industry for Cigna and Lincoln Financial. In her later years, she moved to Orlando, Florida to be closer to her son and his family, and was a superstar helping run the family business, Lane Electronics, where she was a surrogate mom to many and brightened everyone's day for the past 16 years. She often shared that her greatest joy was raising her children, and spending time with her grandchildren. Her beauty, wit, and smile would light up a room wherever she went and will be so deeply missed. May her memory be eternal.
