Lucille Posey

Posey, Lucille, 86, longtime resident of Orlando went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, September 4. She was born on January 23, 1922. She was a member of Pine Creek Baptist Church, Oneida, TN and was an Eastern Star. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Witmer Posey and grandsons Marshall Posey, Jr. and Dustin Posey. Survivors include her son, Witmer Lee Posey, Knoxville, TN, daughter Gaylia Aldrich, Orlando, Marshall Posey, Orlando, sister Kathleen Foster, Indianapolis, IN; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 1PM-2PM Saturday, September 6 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 895 S. Goldenrod Road, Orlando. Funeral services will begin at 2PM. Interment will follow at Chapel Hill Cemetery, Orlando. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Central Florida Childrens Home, P.O. Box 574955, Orlando, FL 32857-4955 (407) 277-7441.
