Luis Felipe Martinez-Betancourt, of Orlando, Florida, passed away on January 25, 2013.
The funeral service will be held at 9:30 AM on Tuesday, January 29, 2013 in the Chapel of Newcomer Funeral Home with Father Joe O'Neil of Good Shepherd Catholic Church officiating. Interment will follow at 12:30 PM at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida. Visitation will be held from 5:00-9:00 PM on Monday, January 28, 2013 in the funeral home chapel.
Luis was born in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico and married Nilda Vila Ramirez on 1967; they were married 45 years. He served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.
Luis enjoyed cooking for the family and oil painting. He is survived by his wife Nilda, his children Virgen, Delmarie, Luis and Nilaida, and other family and friends.
