Born August 29, 1959 born in Cataño, PR to Ana Elma (Rios) Figueroa and the late Epifanio Figueroa. Raised in East New York - Brooklyn, New York and lived in Florida for many years before his passing. Graduated from James Madison High School in 1977. Loved working for UPS. Was energetic, strong and had a passion for baseball. Played baseball as a kid and softball as an adult. A Met fan aficionado. Loved having a good time and spending time with family and friends. Enjoyed dancing, listening to salsa music and playing his congas. Was fearless and protected his family and friends at any cost. Had a funny, adventurous and head-strong personality. In his younger years, he purchased a jalopy Volkswagen - Rabbit against the advice of friends and family. In his stubborn self, insisted in taking it to Florida with his wife. They only made it to the end of New Jersey beginning of Delaware when they had to turn back to NY since they had spent most of the vacation money on car repairs due to blow outs, busted hose, and other disasters. Oh, and let's not forget how much he LOVED and took pride in his big afro!
