Lula H. Goad

Lula H. Goad, 98, graciously entered into the open arms of her Lord and Savior on Thursday, July 28, 2016. She was born on August 3, 1917 in Hendersonville, TN to the late Amos and Minnie Martin-Bolton. Lula is survived by her granddaughter, Lisa Dawn Goad Stewart; Grandson, Anthony Martin Goad, three great granddaughters, brother in law, Thomas Goad; sister in law Mary Goad Hane, numerous nieces and nephews, extended family members and close friends. She was predeceased by her husband, William Earl Goad, Jr.; her son, Charles B. Goad, granddaughter Debra Lynn Goad and eleven siblings. Lula will be remembered as a faithful and dedicated military wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and as a friend. After her husband's honorable service, she worked in school systems as a Dietician and later retired to Oviedo, FL. She will be deeply missed and forever in the hearts of her family and friends. Visitation will be from 3:00PM to 4:00PM on Friday, August 5, 2016 at Newcomer Funeral Home in Orlando with a funeral service to follow at 4:00PM. Lula will be laid to rest at the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL at a later date.
