Lydia Jean (Fullwood) Mykytiuk, age 60, died unexpectedly at home on February 14, 2022 in Orlando, FL. Lydia was born in Holyoke, Massachusetts on December 16, 1961.
While in Holyoke, Lydia was educated in the area's Catholic school system attending Blessed Sacrament and Holyoke Catholic High schools.
In Florida, Lydia earned a bachelor's degree in psychology, a master's in elementary education as well as a master's in clinical family counseling. She worked in the Orlando area's public school system as a Special Education teacher for 20 years.
Lydia leaves behind her loving husband of 42 years, Jeffrey Mykytiuk, and a daughter Allyssa of Orlando, Florida, two brothers Martin and Michael Fullwood, two sisters, Linda Caldwell and Mary Martin, two sisters-in-law Lisa Mykytiuk and Amybeth Mykytiuk of Springfield and several nieces and nephews all of whom reside in Western Massachusetts. She will be laid to rest in St. Jerome's Cemetery in Holyoke. All services are private.
Lydia's greatest passion in life was adopting rescued, aged and infirmed poodles. She also leaves behind three furbabies, Emma, Daisy and Jack all rescues she loved and nurtured.
