Lynn Moorcroft
February 1, 1940 — November 14, 2019
Lynn A. Moorcroft, loving husband of Patricia, father of Tammy Austin, Kim Moorcroft, Tawny Smith and Jennifer Roman, brother of Ben and Robert Axmacher, sisters Anna Marie Rolin, and Eleanor McLelland passed away Thursday Nov. 14, 2019.
Lynn was born in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania; he was raised by Al Moorcroft until he joined the US Air Force in 1958 where he served as a Medic. After leaving the service, Lynn worked for Santa Fe Railroad and then as a technician for AT&T. Lynn's job with AT&T took him from Topeka, KS to Dallas, TX, to Denver CO and finally to Lake Mary, Fl where he retired in 2001.
Lynn's had two other loves in this life, his dog Lily and cars. You never knew what new car would be in the garage when you came home. Sunday's time of silence was always during the NASCAR Race.
Lynn was blessed with great friends and family; he will be missed.
A celebration of life will be held at his Residence on Nov. 23 at 2:30.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals of Orlando (ASPCA)
