Mack A Robinson II, age 32, of Oviedo, FL passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, March 17, 2019 in Atlanta, GA. He was the beloved son of Mack and Debra Robinson.
Mack was born on March 27, 1986 at Cherry Point Marine Corps Air Station in North Carolina. As a perk of his family's military travel, Mack gained exposure to diverse cultures and matured into a warm, adventurous, and inclusive young man. He was an early graduate of the Lyman Institute of Engineering and Technology high school magnet program. Mack went on to become an alumnus of both The University of Central Florida and Seminole State College, with coursework at Rollins College. He showed an early interest in technology, specifically video game systems and computers, consequently choosing to build a career in network and software engineering.
Mack continued developing his skills as a computer engineer, taking on leadership roles for clients such as University of Central Florida, Defense Intelligence Agency, SiriusXM, Northrup Grumman, Lockheed Martin, Federal Deposit Insurance Company, and the National Institutes of Health. In 2013, Mack founded his own virtualization engineering company, Macrob Consultants which he ran from Orlando, Florida and later relocated to the Greater Atlanta area.
He had a love of domestic and international travel, and cultivated an ever-growing roster of devoted friends. His outgoing personality enabled him to form lasting bonds and leave a positive impact on the people whose lives he touched. Mack had a love of custom performance automotives, military history and aviation, and he was a noted "sneakerphile" who curated a collection of popular and luxury brand shoes. He loved entertaining and was quick to man the grill or the turntables. Mack was known to brighten any room with his laughter and charm. His caring and protective nature is central to his lasting legacy, he was quick to act selflessly to help a family member, friend, or person in need.
