Mae Jacqueline Bryant passed away peacefully at home on March 24th, 2023 in Longwood, Florida. She was born on December 6th, 1933 in Barnesville, Georgia to parents John H. Anders and Mary Opal Anders (Burroughs).
Jackie, as she liked to be called, was first and foremost a homemaker. On the side, she enjoyed being a hairdresser and had many friends come to her for their haircut. She was a strong woman to raise all boys in the family. She would take them to church with her every Sunday to help them grow up to be responsible and loving sons. While the sons did chores, she would take that time to bond with them. She enjoyed life and loved spending her time with family and in her yard planting flowers and other plants.
She is survived by her two sons, Michael Keith Bryant and Marshall Bryant; grandchildren, Nicholas Toma Bryant, Sebastian Shuma Bryant, and Nicole Bryant; and great-grandchildren, Jaden Bryant and Isabella Bryant.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Opal Anders; husband John E. Bryant; son, Richard Steven Bryant; and grandson, Christopher Bryant.
A private family graveside service will be held at a later date at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery.
