It is with extreme sadness that we announce the passing of Manuel Bruno Rivera, age 78, of Orlando, FL. He was born in Vega Alta, Puerto Rico on August 23 of 1943, and closing his eyes to open them in heaven April 3rd of 2022.
Manuel Bruno was married to Carmen Bruno for 33 years, having four children named Jesus, Samuel, Rafael and Victor Bruno. Manuel Bruno had other children before his current marriage, where they were all loved and remembered by him each day.
A hard-working husband and father, he supported his family each day with love and dedication. Manuel worked as a handyman most of his life, migrating from Puerto Rico to New York where he lived for over 40 years. Manuel loved to listen to music, spend time with his family and friends. His grandchildren were the light of his eyes, receiving them with joy every time they were to visit his home. After living in New York, he and his wife Carmen decided to live in Orlando, Florida; where three of his children lived nearby and enjoyed visits with him that left memories of laughter, joyfulness, and at moments, tears. Manuel Bruno left beautiful memories with his loved ones that will never be forgotten, especially his DAD Jokes!
To celebrate Manuel's life, his funeral services will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home - Winter Park Chapel, 3806 Howell Branch Rd, Winter Park, FL on Wednesday April 6, 2022 at 7:00 pm. Visitation with the family will take place on Wednesday at the funeral home from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
Graveside services and burial will be held at Lake Mary Cemetery, Thursday, April 7th at 11:00am.
