Manuel DeJesus Vasquez, age 55, of Orlando, Florida, formerly of Reno, NV, passed away on Saturday, October 10, 2020 at his home in Orlando, FL.
Manuel was born on December 23, 1964 in Reno, NV to Ernestina Guzman-Haller and the late Martin Vasquez. Manny loved the outdoors, sunny days and fresh air. He had a green thumb, and could grow and maintain anything, which is why he chose landscaping for his profession. Manny's talent and love for tinkering/restoration led to him being a very good small engine repairman. He always had his music to soothe him, and his favorite sport was basketball. He enjoyed bicycling, playing pool and fishing. Manny was a good man with a great sense of humor and was always willing to help his neighbors in his community. Thank you for the funny stories and laughter you shared with your family and friends. You will always be loved and dearly missed.
Manuel is survived by his mother, Ernestina of Sparks, NV; his three sons, Christopher Vasquez of Orlando, Kyle Vasquez of Kissimmee, and Manuel DeJesus "MJ" Vasquez Jr. of Sparks, NV; his daughter, Christina Vasquez Segura of Artesia, NM; two brothers, Ygnacio Guzman of Reno, NV, and Javier Vasquez and his wife, Carol, of Phoenix, AZ; three sisters, Maria L.
