Margaret Ann Magyar, 65, passed away suddenly on Thursday, April 29, 2010.
Born Margaret Ann Morrow to Ralph and Cecil Morrow of Saranac Lake, N.Y., on Dec. 8, 1944.
Margaret attended Saranac Lake Central School. A homemaker to her six children from her first marriage to Gerald Burnett and four foster children, Margaret worked many jobs in her life to support her family, waitress, bartending, preparing meals for the elderly, flagging on road construction, cosmetology and service representative for Greenway Ford of Orlando, Fla. Having retired early, Margaret was enjoying life with her husband, Joseph Magyar, taking trips to places she always wanted to see like Hawaii. Going to the clubhouse at their community in Orlando participating in many activities and events often volunteering. Her favorite holiday was Christmas and her trees and displays were something to see. So much so that Margaret and Joseph opened their house to people in the community for tours of the displays. Margaret's generosity was so great that since her passing we are learning of new accounts daily. Like adopting a military family for Christmas, wearing new outfit's a couple times and giving them to needy residents of her community and even in her passing, husband Joseph donated Luau tickets to a woman who wouldn't have been able to go otherwise. Margaret's favorite things were husband Joseph, whom she had just renewed her vows with, spending time with her children and grandchildren, baking, her flowers, going on trips, coffee clutch and dinners at the clubhouse, tap dancing, painting pictures and helping people out. Margaret always lightened up a room when she entered it and could always put a smile on your face. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her especially her kids and grandchildren.
