Margaret Corbett Wellons, age 78 of Winter Park, passed away Saturday, April 30. She was born on September 4, 1937 in Smithfield, NC to Junius L. Corbett and Allie Batten Corbett.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Floyd Corbett and Rev. Jimmy Corbett. She is survived by her husband, Nelson Thomas Wellons, Sr.; son, Nelson Thomas Wellons, Jr.; daughters, Gail Carney and Gloria Roth; sisters, Minnie Ennis, Lissie McNamee and Edna Pickrell; brothers, J.L. Corbett and Curtis Corbett; 6 Grandchildren and 3 Great-Grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 6PM-9PM, Tuesday, May 3 at Orlando Baptist Church, 500 S. Semoran Blvd., Orlando. Funeral services will be held at 11AM, Wednesday, May 4 at Orlando Baptist Church, with Pastor David Janney officiating. Interment will follow at Glen Haven Memorial Park, 2300 Temple Drive, Winter Park.
