Margaret Ann Miller, age 77, of Orlando, Florida passed away on Monday, August 17, 2020 at her home in Orlando.
Margaret was born on July 3, 1943 in Rockledge, FL, daughter to the late Gordon and Beatrice (Holmes) Glendening. She was a self-employed property manager. Margaret was a member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles #3496. She attended Fern Creek Elementary and Howard Junior High School.
She enjoyed camping in the Ocala National Forest, traveling across the country in her motorhome, and attending many Nascar events over the years. For ten years, she maintained executive suites at the Indianapolis and Daytona Motor Speedways. She enjoyed going to many state parks such as Ruby Falls, Stone Mountain, GA, and Jetty Park, where she enjoyed fishing off of the jetties. She had a lifetime appreciation for lighthouses. In her later years, she enjoyed playing bingo with her family and friends at the Eagles.
Margaret is survived by her three sons, Howard Hitchcock of Star, NC, William Hitchcock of Orlando, and Allen Miller of Orlando; her daughter, Susan Rucinski of Orlando; Step-son, Jody John Miller; step-daughter, Deborah Sue Hamilton; fifteen grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren; and three great great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband, Ernest T. Miller, Jr.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, August 29, 2020 at 6:00pm at Newcomer Funeral Home - East Orlando Chapel, 895 S. Goldenrod Road, Orlando, 32822.
Visitation will precede the service from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm at the funeral home.
