Our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend, Maria Rivera, left this mortal existence to return to her Father in heaven on September 16. She was born March 15, 1916 in Arecibo, Puerto Rico. She was an excellent seamstress and was known for her ability to create beautiful wedding dresses. She helped many people throughout her journey in life and will be missed.
We are certain a joyous reunion is taking place as she is being reunited with her parents, brothers, sister, grandson and all her loving pets. She is survived by her two children, a brother, two sisters, four grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and many friends throughout her life that are considered family. Visitation will be held Monday, September 20 from 3PM-9PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, Orlando. A graveside service will be held at 11AM Tuesday, September 21 at Greenwood Cemetery, Orlando.
