Maria Colon Vargas

Maria Colon Vargas, 68, of Orlando, Florida passed away on September 18, 2021. She was born in Fajardo, Puerto Rico on January 17, 1953 to Sixto Colon and Ramona Lopez Colon. Maria was a very strong woman, but had a heart of gold. She was there to help her family and friends any time they needed her. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Her faith in God, as a Catholic, helped keep her strong. Maria is survived by her loving husband, Roberto Vargas; her daughter, Jennifer Lopez; her sister, Mercedita Colon; her brothers, Christopher Colon and Sixto Colon Jr., and by many other loving family members and friends.

Services will be held at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, East Orlando Chapel on Saturday, September 25. The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM with a service to follow at 7:00 PM.
