Maria A. Edwards, 76 of Orlando, Florida passed away on Friday, December 4, 2015.
She was born on July 3, 1939 in Bogota, Colombia to Gerardo Riveros and Cleotilde Pinillos who have both preceded her in death. Maria retired from New York Telephone after more than 25 years of service. She moved to Orlando in 1998 and was a member of Faith Assembly of God Church. Maria enjoyed dancing, knitting, cooking and theme parks. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who loved and was always dedicated to her family.
She is survived by her husband, Jerome Edwards; sons, Oscar Descalzi, Jr. and his wife, Sandra and Roberto Descalzi and his wife, Teadora; daughters, Rossana Wilkins and her husband, Darrin and Kaz Matthews; brother, Fernando Riveros; sister, Martha Morales; sister, Gloria Riveros; brother, Mario Riveros; former daughter-in-law, Diana Osorio; 11 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
