Maria R. Lewis, age 72, of Casselberry , FL passed away on Christmas, December 25, 2023 at 6:02pm in Altamonte Springs, FL. surrounded by her Family.
She was born on December 8, 1951, in Livonia, MI, daughter to her late parents, Walter L. Kane and Rheda M. Kane.
Maria is survived by her sons, Leonard of Edgewater, Fl, Russell of Sevierville, TN, Ronald of Belleville, MI, Bob of Belleville, MI.; Daughter, Jodi Sink of Longwood, Fl. Maria had 9 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
Maria grew up on a Morgan horse farm in South Lyon, Michigan, where she traveled the world showing and competing in horse shows. She had a career as an Surgical Technician for many years until she was injured on the job. Afterwards she devoted her time to family and volunteering at the American Legion. For the past 4 years Maria suffered from dementia and Alzheimer's. On Christmas, God ended her suffering and called her home to our father and her parents.
Mom will always be remembered for her contagious laughter and smiles. Mom you will be missed but never forgotten!
