Maria Adela Perez, 93, of Orlando, passed away on February 16, 2024 at her home.
She was born on January 22, 1931 to Edito and Maria (Sanchez) Tersy at Palma Soriano, Cuba.
Maria worked as a Designer in the garment district in New York City. She designed many one-of-a-kind Wedding Dresses and was even part of the team that designed costumes for the Super Bowl, something she discovered while watching!
On January 22, she married Eugenio Perez and they were happily together for many years until his passing. Maria and Eugenio lived in Orlando, Florida.
Maria is survived by her loving Son, Maurice E. (Lauralee Dobbins) Perez; her Granddaughter Elizabeth Perez; and her Sister Josefa Hernandez.
She was preceded in death by her loving Spouse, Eugenio; Father, Edito Tersy; Mother, Maria Felipa Sanchez; Son, Miguel E. Perez; and 5 of her beloved siblings.
A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held on February 22, 2024, at 11:00 AM at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Orlando, Florida.
Funeral services will follow the gathering.
