Mrs. Maria Teresa Santiago, age 81, passed away on Thursday, May 24, 2018 in Sanford, Florida, surrounded by her family. Maria was born on October 13, 1936 in Toa Alta, Puerto Rico to parents Secundino Santiago and Ramona Nieves.
She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Jose A. Ramos; daughter, Maria Celleri; granddaughters, Melissa Celleri and Maricedy Walters; grandson, Jason Celleri; great-grandson, Anthony Rusch-Celleri; seven brothers and sisters; and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her son, Jose Antonio Ramos-Santiago.
A visitation will be held from 6:00 - 9:00 PM on Tuesday, May 29, 2018 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals, & Receptions - South Seminole Chapel, 335 E SR 434, Longwood, FL 32750. Additional services will be held in Puerto Rico at Funeraria Diaz, Inc. in Toa Alta, where she will then be laid to rest at Cementerio Municipal de Toa Alta.
