Marie Stewart was born on April 22, 1941 in Turtle Creek, PA and went Home to Heaven Nov. 2, 2014.
She was the daughter of Charles Andrew Stroschein and Marie Anna Stroschein. She had three sisters and one brother: Lorraine Gilson (deceased) of Grove City, PA; Nancy Johnston of Houston, TX; Kathy Stroschein of Longwood, FL; and Charles Stroschein of Tampa, FL. Marie was married to Bob Stewart for many wonderful years; they had three daughters and one son: Wendy Leming of Fredericksburg, VA; Susie Clark of Orlando, FL; Kym Adams of Wilmington, NC; and Mark Allen Stewart of Ormond Beach, FL. Marie had five grandchildren: Mercedes, Taylor, McLain, Havens and Abbi, with whom she had a very special relationship. She had one great grandchild Mikael and cherished nieces and nephews.
In her youth, she was chosen to sing in the All American Chorus performing Good Will concerts in eight countries in Europe. Her main occupation was in the US Department of Defense as a Military Personnel Specialist Technician writing regulations for the US Army. Marie worked with Bob for 12 years on the Annual Greyhound Golf Tournament and was on the Board of her Home Owner's Association. In 2013, she was honored to be the Grand Marshall for her neighborhood's Holiday Parade. Marie enjoyed the West, the beach, landscaping, taking care of animals and children, and helping others. Above all, she loved the Lord Jesus Christ and is now with Him in Glory.
