Marie Marques Bravo, age 76, of Kissimmee, Florida passed away on Friday, November 24, 2023. She was born in Newark, New Jersey on September 25, 1947 to parents, father, Joaquim and mother, Sophie (Egnatovich) Marques.
She is survived by her husband Luciano Bravo, brothers Joaquim Marques Jr of Kissimmee, FL and John Marques of Scott Township, PA, sister Dolores Marques of Madison, NJ, and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, Joaquim & Sophie Marques.
Marie travelled the world for both work and leisure. She met her husband through her work in Egypt, and after marrying in 1986, they travelled extensively together, and lived in several places, including Washington, DC, California, Maryland and Florida. She had many exciting careers, including owning her own restaurant and working for the US Government. She went back to school in her forties, earning a Master of Arts Degree in Public Communication from The American University in Washington, DC. She was also passionate about genealogy, and did extensive research on family history.
