Marie Ulrich

Marie Ulrich, age 83, passed on October 28, 2023, in Advent Health Hospital in Orlando after a long and difficult battle with cancer.

Marie was born on August 7 in Jelico, Tennessee. She married Hugh when she was 17 years old, and they had four children. After raising their family, she began her career climbing the ladder in civil service from administrative assistant to health care advisor and contract administrator, retiring after 20 years. She was a born-again believer in Jesus Christ and a wonderful mother who loved spending time with her family. She loved horses and caring for animals, especially cats.

Marie was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years,Hugh Ulrich; and daughter, Vickie Hudnall, who passed in 2020. Hugh passed on August 31 ten years ago in his home in Orlando. Hugh was born on July 25 in Kay Jay, Kentucky. After graduating high school, Hugh joined the USAF and was awarded the Meritorious Service Medal for serving honorably for 25 years at locations across the globe including Germany and South Korea. His interests were golfing, fishing, and spending time with family.

Marie and Hugh are survived by their four children, seven grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.

A private celebration of everlasting life will be held in their honor at the Chapel Hill Cemetery in Orlando.
