Franzen, Marilyn Ann- Age 69 of Orlando, died on Tuesday, September 2, 2008. Memorial services will be held from 6:00 - 8:00 PM on Friday, September 12, 2008 in Newcomer Family Funeral Home, 895 S. Goldenrod Rd., Orlando. She was born in Cheboygan, Michigan to Alf & Ruth Mellberg. She was a full time homemaker, loving wife and mother. She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Carl Franzen of Orlando, Florida; daughter, Theresa Pelaez of Vandalia, Ohio; son David Franzen of Orlando, Florida & Dawn Naylor of Orlando, Florida; brothers, David Mellberg of Huntsville, Alabama & Robert Mellberg of Santa Clara, California; 6 grandchildren, Jason Pelaez of Dayton, Ohio, Alicia Pelaez of Dayton, Ohio, Michael Pelaez of Vandalia, Ohio, Kyle Franzen of Orlando, Florida, Marissa Naylor of Orlando, Florida, Adam Naylor of Orlando, Florida & 2 great-grandchildren, Landon Pelaez of Dayton, Ohio & Logan Pelaez of Dayton, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to American Diabetes Association or the National Kidney Foundation. There will be a gathering at the families home following the memorial service.
