Marilyn Leereed Brown

Marilyn Lee Reed Brown, of Lake Mary, FL, formerly of Charleston, MO died at her residence on Saturday, July 23, 2016.

She was born in Cairo, Illinois. She was a graduate of Cairo High School and attended the University of Missouri.

Marilyn was a member of the Charleston United Methodist Church in Charleston, MO and Northland, A Church Distributed in Longwood, FL. She was an active participant in the Northland Women's Community Bible Study.

She was an avid golfer and a member of the Victoria Hills Women's Golf Association. Marilyn was formerly Club champion at Deland Country Club, Deland, FL, and Charleston Country Club, Charleston, MO.

Marilyn is survived by her husband E. Lindsay Brown, III; daughters, Bethany R Brown and Pamela Brown Smith and her husband Mickey J. Smith, sons, Randall R Brown and Gregory B Brown; grandchildren, Lindsay J. Smith, Russell H. Smith and Laura Reed Smith.

She would like to be remembered as an advocate for Ovarian Cancer awareness. Memorials are requested to the Women and Girls Cancer Alliance at Florida Hospital. FloridaHospital.com/WGCA
