Marilyn Townsend

TOWNSEND, Marilyn Ruth (Lehman), of Orlando, passed away on Saturday, August 26, 2023. Born on March 9, 1935 in Berne, IN to Marvin and Glenna (nee: Duff) Lehman, she attended Taylor University. She was married to Dr. Ronald Dee Townsend from May 29, 1955 until his passing in 2010. Marilyn was a consistent prayer warrior spending time each day praying for many others. She went above and beyond caring for people that needed help. She was known for her positive, joyful spirit. She never complained, and was a wonderful example of thankfulness and gratitude. She is survived by her brothers Berdell (Gretchen) Lehman of Berne, IN and Bernerd Lehman of Bradenton, FL, her sons Donald (Debra) Townsend of Orlando, FL, Randy Townsend of Richmond, KY, her daughter Twannette (Ross) Nash of Rochester Hills, MI, her five grandchildren, Nicole (Ronnie) Bowser, Kristina Nash, Mary Nash, David Nash and Sarah Nash.
