Martha G. Burris

Martha (Marti) Garrett Burris, 76, of Altamonte Springs, FL passed away on Friday, May 5, 2017.Born October 4, 1940 in Muncie Indiana, she is predeceased by her late husband John Stephen Burris, her parents Donald E Garrett and Mrytle Jaynes Garrett, Brother William Gerald Garrett, Sister Mary Jean Garrett, and Son Jeffery Scott Burris.

Marti graduated from Muncie Indiana Central High School. She also attended Ball State University. Marti retired from Greater Construction where she worked for over 30 years. She is survived by her best friend and soul mate Bob Poplar of Kissimmee FL, son Stephen Burris and wife Sherry of Longwood, FL, brother Michael Garrett and wife Patty, of Muncie, Indiana, brother Charles( Chuck) Garrett and wife Edna, of the Philippians, 5 grandchildren Shannon, Christina, Casey, Brittiany and Stephen, 4 great-grandchildren Hailey, Dylan, Cayden and Shelby.

Marti loved traveling around the world with Bob. She also loved the beach, hosting dinner parties, music and dancing. She was very family oriented and loved keeping the traditions alive.

She will be loved and missed by all.
