Martha C. Plemmons

Martha C. Plemmons, age 76, passed away on Tuesday, February 5, 2019 in Altamonte Springs, Florida. She was born on May 21, 1942 in Fort Payne, Alabama.

Martha moved to Sanford, Florida in 1977. She began a career working in electronics for approximately 15 years, eventually moving on to her beloved position with her Walmart family, where she has been employed for the past 15 years.

Martha was full of artistic talent of all types, including painting, flower arrangement, various crafting, gardening and so much more. If you needed something, she could make it for you, from bridal bouquets for family members and friends to painting your lifelike portrait. She had such a green thumb that her house was like a rainforest, coaxing anything to grow under her care. Martha was always there if you needed her, both by phone or in person, regardless of the time of day and no questions asked. Anyone who was blessed to have known her loved her. She will truly be missed by all.

A public visitation will be held from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Sunday, February 10, 2019 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions – South Seminole Chapel, 335 E. State Road 434, Longwood, FL 32750. A Celebration of Life service will follow, beginning at 12:00 PM.

In lieu of sending traditional floral arrangements for Marty's services, the family would like to request sending peace lilies or any variety of potted plants instead. Following her Celebration of Life, any plants received will be planted in loving memory of Marty in her plentiful garden.
