Martin Walter "Grumpy" Miller, 71 of Orlando, Florida passed away on Friday, April 3, 2015.
He was born on November 14, 1943 in Toledo, Ohio to Walter and Mabel (Kummerow) Miller who have both preceded him in death. He was a graduate of Rogers High School in Toledo and then began a 21 year Navy career where he was a Chief Petty Officer. He served during the Vietnam War. He retired from the Navy in 1985. He then went to work for J.B.T. (formerly F.M.C.) and retired in 2009. Martin was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #4287 in Orlando. He enjoyed fishing, woodworking, working in his yard and teasing and harassing the neighborhood children. Martin was also an animal lover.
He is survived by his loving wife, Karen J. (Reese) Miller; daughter, Shona M. Gibson; son, Kevin W. Miller; son-in-law, Christopher R. Gibson; brother, Gary W. Miller; sister, Lois A. Keck; sister-In-Law, Marilyn Miller; brother-In-Law, Robert Keck and his two grandchildren, Phoenix A. Gibson and Griffin K. Gibson.
