WALKER, MARVIN M.
Marvin Walker, age 82, of Eustis, Florida, died February 23 in Orlando, Florida. Mr. Walker was born May 25, 1922 in Russell, PA. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Jymme, and their two sons, Dr. Gary Walker and his wife, Marcia of Midlothian, Texas; Glen Walker and his wife, Margarita of Port Orange, Florida; and daughter Nancy Bredin and her husband, James of Holt, Michigan. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren, all of whom were the joy of his life. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Roberta Walker, brother Warren and twin brother, Merle. Mr. Walker was a patriot proudly serving in the Army Air Corp during WWII. He worked for the Michigan Department of Labor for 36 years, retiring in 1982 as the Director of the Bureau of Safety and Regulation. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to his Cardiologist, Dr. Jwala Prasad and his staff, for 25 years of personal care. As Marvin would always say, "Stay healthy…It's good for you!" A memorial service with full military honors will be held in June at Florida National Cemetery.
