Mary Rose Coppola, 89, passed away on January 28, 2017 at her home in Orlando, FL. She was born on November 26, 1927 in Portsmouth, NH to parents Frank Scarito and Rose (Busceme) Scarito.
Mary attended Chelsea High School, graduating with her diploma in 1945. Following her graduation, she worked for 7 years at Roma Extract Boston, a company owned by her aunt and uncle. In 1974, the family relocated from Saugus, Massachusetts to Orlando, Florida.
Those who knew and loved Mary would say that she devoted her life to her husband and sons--the "perfect" Italian homemaker, cook, and loving wife and mother.
Mary is preceded in death by her beloved husband Tony, to whom she was happily married for 57 years; her parents, Frank and Rose Scarito; and her brother, Frank Scarito.
Mary is survived by her children: Anthony of MacClenny, FL and Vince of Orlando, FL; granddaughter, Samantha of Orlando, FL; her adorable dog, Star; sister, Josie (Lee) Fredette of Portsmouth, NH; brother, Sal (Martha) Scarito of Longwood, FL; and her nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
A funeral service will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home, 895 S. Goldenrod Rd., Orlando, Florida at 11 AM on Friday, February 3, 2017. A visitation will be held at the funeral home from 5 - 9 PM on Thursday, February 2, 2017. Burial will follow the funeral at Greenwood Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations be made to the Hospice of the Comforter.
Mary will be greatly missed.
