MARY ELIZABETH (BEBKO) KOBYLINSKI, age 89, died December 5, 2011. Mary was born and raised in Erie, PA and graduated from East High School. She married Ben Kobylinski on July 30, 1945 in Kansas City, MO after a whirlwind romance while he was serving in World War II. They began their marriage and family in Erie, PA and relocated to Orlando, FL in October 1956, where they raised their five children. After the children were grown, she worked many years as a volunteer in the business office and gift shop at Florida Hospital East. In addition to giving her time to the hospital, she enjoyed playing tennis and rummy, playing the piano, dancing at the various senior centers and investing in her family. She was married to Ben, the love of her life, for 49 ½ years when he died of cancer. She married a second time in 1999 after she met a fellow dancer, Richard Hile, at the age of 77. She enjoyed 6 years with Richard before he passed. Loved by many, she was called "Grandma Mary" by a multitude of people and will be missed for her unconditional love. She is survived by her children, Nancy Phillips (Bob) Christmas, FL; Gerry Kobylinski (Barbara) Sacramento, CA; Karen Wood (Chris) Henderson, TX; James Kobylinski (Tonia) Mims, FL; John Kobylinski (Sally) Orlando, FL and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A funeral mass will be held at 11 AM Friday, December 9, 2011 at Blessed Trinity Catholic Church 4545 Anderson Road.
