Mary M Feltner

Feltner, Mary, age 74 of Dayton, went to be with the lord on December 4, 2016 after a brief illness, at Kettering Hospital. She was a long standing member of the Beavercreek Church of God. Mary worked as a nurse's assistant for 24 years at Kettering Hospital where she provided care and compassion for her patients.

She is preceded in death by son Mack Feltner (OH); parents Pleasie and Gracie Couch (KY); 3 brothers, Pearl Couch (KY), Gerald Couch (KY), and Charlie Couch (KY); sister Shirley Davidson (KY).

Mary is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, John Feltner; daughter and favorite son-in-law Ruby and Gene Begley; 2 grandsons Jesse Begley, and Cody Begley (Alicia Williams); 2 brothers Norman (Jean) Couch, (Stinnett, KY), and Delbert (Judy) Couch (London, KY); 4 sisters Anna Lee Meece (Norwood, OH), Imogene Eversole (Bear Branch, KY), Audrey (Willie) Cornett (Big Creek, KY), and Nancy (Hurl) Osborne (Thousandsticks, KY); as well as a host of nieces and nephews spread across the country.

She worked hard to earn her wings. She finally got them and has gone to be with her God and her family gone on before. The reunion between mother and son after 37 years must have been a glorious sight to behold. I love you mom and say Hi to Mack for me.

The family will receive friends on Thursday December 8, 2016 at Beavercreek Church of God, 2661 Grange Hall Road, starting at 10am until time of service at 12pm. Interment at Dayton Memorial Park will follow.
