Mary Smithson

Mary Smithson, 97 of Orlando, Florida passed away peacefully on March 20, 2025.  She was born in Virginia on October 17, 1927.

Mary married the love of her life, George Lloyd Smithson in 1952.  In 1963, they moved to Orlando to raise their family.  Mary loved caring for her home and enjoyed cooking for her family and friends.  She also enjoyed babysitting for her grandchildren and spending fun times with them.

Mary was a strong woman, with a big heart due to her strong faith in God.  She raised her children in the Nazarene faith.  

George preceded Mary in passing in 1990 after 38 years of marriage.  She is survived by her 2 daughters:  Donna (Jim) Lilly and Melita (Bob) Guldin; her 3 grandchildren: Mahresia (William) Wanner, Brian (Beverly) Ludlow and Bradley (Kaila) Guldin and her 5 great grandchildren: Zachary Ludlow, Bruce Sztuba, Lee Wanner, Casey Ludlow and Carson Ludlow.

A Graveside Service will be held on Tuesday, April 1, 2025 at 12:30 PM at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL.
