Mary E. Sullivan-Grove

Mary Elizabeth (Sullivan) Grove, age 89, of Winter Park, Florida passed away peacefully in the residence of her son-in-love and daughter, John and Marian (Grove) Crawford, on Tuesday, June 20, 2023, after a brief time under Hospice care for stage four COPD and a pelvic mass. She was born in Elizabeth, New Jersey on August 4, 1933 to parents, father, John and mother, Mary (Daly) Sullivan. She and her late younger brother, John Sullivan, grew up in West Palm Beach, FL. She was married to the late Charles E. Grove, Jr., whom she divorced after 20+ years, but with whom she had four children: Charles E. Grove, III, Sean C. Grove, the late Michael S. Grove and Marian T. (Grove) Crawford. She was the grandmother of three: Sean M. Grove, Kristen E.A. Grove and Brandon R. Grove, and the great-grandmother to one unnamed miscarried great-grandchild.

Her passions were her Catholic Faith, family, friends, sewing, baking (especially bread), reading AND enjoying chocolate. She is most fondly remembered for her deep Love for her Catholic Faith, her beautiful smile, her Irish humor, her encouraging words to even a perfect stranger, and her moments of feistiness.

A visitation will be held from 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm on Wednesday, June 28, 2023 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Winter Park Chapel, 3806 Howell Branch Rd, Winter Park, Florida 32792.

The Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:30 am on Thursday, June 29, 2023 at Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church-5300 Old Howell Branch Road, Winter Park, FL 32792

Interment will take place at Woodlawn Memorial Park on Saturday July 8, 2023 at 10:00 am.
