MARY KAY BOSTWICK
Mary Kathryn (Timbers) Bostwick died on May 10, 2011 in Orlando, Florida. A native of Mauston, Wis, she was born on August 2, 1925. Valedictorian of her high school, Mary Kay earned a B. S. degree from the University of Wisconsin and an MLA degree from Johns Hopkins University. Mary Kay taught English in the Baltimore County Public Schools.
As a 33 year resident of Oak Forest, Catonsville, MD, Mrs. Bostwick was President of the Rolling Hills Women's Club and belonged to the Rolling Road Golf Club, the Maryland Yacht Club, the Catonsville Cotillion, and the Johns Hopkins Club; and worshipped at St. Mark Catholic Church.
In later years Mrs. Bostwick retired first to Ocala, FL, where she golfed and founded the book club at Ocala Palms Golf and Country Club, and then moved to Celebration, FL, where she completed over 60 years of playing bridge.
Survivors include three sons, Joseph Bostwick, Jr. of Celebration, FL, David Bostwick, MD of Orlando, FL, and Richard Bostwick, Esq., of Richmond, VA. and seven grandchildren.
After a funeral service at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, Mrs. Bostwick was buried beside her husband, Joseph Bostwick, Sr. at the National Cemetery for Veterans in Bushnell, FL.
