Our loving Mother Mary Virginia Sills, affectionately known as Grannie went to be with our Lord on Monday, November 5, 2012. She was born November 23, 2012 in Columbus GA and lived a very full life, only missing her 100th birthday by 18 days.
Grannie is survived by her 2 Daughters, Jacqueline C. Huraj of Eustis, FL and Dorothy V. Pugh of Jacksonville, NC, 7 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and 6 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, Alford A. Sills, known to the family as PaPa. They dedicated their lives to the Lord in 1935 and served Him for remainder of their years. They both served as prayer warriors for our family and many others around the world. Grannie and PaPa are dearly missed.
Funeral service for our Grannie will be Monday, November 12, 2012 at 1:00 PM at the Newcomer Funeral Home, immediately followed by burial in Greenwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday, November 12, 2012 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Newcomer Funeral Home.
