Mattie Lois S. Rouse, age 89, passed away peacefully at home on August 10, 2016.
She was born on February 1, 1927 in Griffin, GA to the late William and Phebe Stapleton. She is preceded in death by her husband, Ray W. Rouse.
She was a devoted member of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, several Ladies Clubs and BPO Does Drove #66.
She is survived by her five children: Phebe Rouse (Happy) Savage, Johnny W. (Jane) Rouse, Betty Jane (Harry) Ireland, Rebecca Lynn Jones and William L. (Kim) Rouse; 11 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held on Sunday August 14, 2016, 3pm, at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, Orlando, FL.
A private burial will follow at Drawdy Rouse Family Cemetery.
Arrangements by the Newcomer Funeral Home (East Orlando Chapel).
