Maxine Jeanette Clery Dunaphant passed away Wednesday, February 22nd at 87 years of age. Maxine was a registered nurse employed by Orlando Regional Medical Center later becoming a private duty nurse. She took great joy in her career becoming a part of each family she cared for. She was employed by Granny Nannies up until the age of 80 years.
Maxine was born in 1924 in Mt. Dora, FL. She graduated from Mt. Dora HS in 1942. She graduated from Emory School of Nursing in Atlanta, GA in 1946. She is survived by her daughter, Mary Williams of Geneva, FL, sons Fred Dunaphant of Orlando, FL, and Lee Dunaphant of Atlanta, GA, daughter-in-law Mary Carey, granddaughters Emily Williams of Geneva, FL, and Anna Carey of Atlanta, GA.
