Melissa Anne McClain, 26 of Winter Park passed away on Sunday. She was born in Wheat Ridge, CO and moved to Central Florida in 1986. Melissa graduated from Winter Park High School in 2002.
She is survived by her parents, Mark and Wendy McClain; brothers, Jamie and Matthew; sister, Christie Obermark; grandmother, Jo McClain and grandfather, Frank Chapman. She is also survived by her Aunt Julie Parra, Uncle Brad McClain and her Uncle Peter Chapman.
Melissa touched the hearts of everyone she met. She had a heart of gold, always putting others first. she loved working at the Mayflower and listening to the veterans tell their stories of flying planes. She loved to watch her cousin, Manuel Parra play for the Milwaukee Brewers. she was the number one fan of the Orlando Magic, collecting memorabilia from the players, even the shoes right of Bo Outlaw's feet. Her passion for all animals was indescribable. This is how we would love for you to remember our true angel.
